Job summary

St. Charles County Government's Information Systems department seeks a System Technician III to install, maintain, and support the County Enterprise Network and provide direct user assistance. This role reports to the Technical Services Manager and participates in network projects.

The position requires at least three years in IT, proficiency with Windows and office apps, and experience with Help Desk, SCCM, and LAN/WAN. It is a full-time on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum three years IT experience.
• Experience with workstation support and computer repair.
• Experience with Help Desk is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Configure and install network equipment, phones, computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Configure and install software and create/maintain user profiles.
• Provide training and technical guidance to other staff as required.
• Lead day-to-day technical support operations and participate in projects.
• Serve as Tier 3 support for county technology and troubleshooting.
• Design backup scripts and group policies; manage enterprise images.
