Rolls-Royce plc seeks a System Safety & Reliability Engineer in Indianapolis, IN, to join a team focused on understanding and mitigating safety and reliability risks across complex systems. You will model degradation, run probabilistic assessments, and support development activities to ensure safe operation under challenging conditions.
The role requires a STEM degree with 1+ years of experience and US citizenship.

As a System Safety & Reliability Engineer, you’ll be part of a team that ensures the safety and reliability attributes of our products are understood and risks are managed to an acceptable level. This role involves the integration of diverse areas of knowledge to create and support complex systems that enable reliable system operation under highly challenging conditions. Tasks include mathematical modeling of complex systems, probabilistic safety assessments, and hazard assessments; extracting actionable insights to improve our products. We apply multi-domain engineering knowledge for components and systems, detailing failure mechanisms and their system effects.

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It's a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week. For fully remote roles, employees can live in any state except Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, Vermont, and Wyoming. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
Pay Range $73,120 - $118,820-Annually
