Qualifications

• 0-1 years of relevant experience with required education.
• Basic understanding of substation equipment and protection system components.
• Knowledge of testing electro-mechanical relays and microprocessor-based relay tech.
• Skills: organization, communication, and computer knowledge.
• Abilities: read drawings, schematics, and identify hazards.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior team members to gain practical experience.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of protection equipment.
• Verify functionality and communication of protection assets during installation.
• Contribute to verification of station alarms and testing of sensing devices.
• Assist in inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of relays and protection components.
• Maintain and test protection systems within maintenance intervals and regulatory requirements.
