Job summary

HDR is seeking a SPS Team Lead to supervise, lead, and grow the SPS team in the Minnesota/Wisconsin area and oversee execution of SPS projects performed by the local team to deliver world class services to clients in the region and across the global Power Delivery practice.

You will provide technical leadership and project oversight, manage workload and utilization, mentor staff, and help recruit and train to build capabilities, while representing HDR in business and community activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 7 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HDR’s SPS team in Minnesota/Wisconsin and provide workload, quality, utilization, teamwork, training, and annual performance reviews.
• Provide technical leadership and project oversight to ensure proper staffing and execution of project work.
• Establish a network of technical peers in other offices for worksharing opportunities.
• Manage workload and utilizations to meet area operating goals, maintaining forecasts.
• Foster Power Delivery growth with regional leadership and staff development.
• Represent HDR in business and community activities.
• Work independently and mentor or supervise staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
