Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a skilled Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint developer in Maryland to design, program and implement system enhancements, improve user interfaces, and expand internal reporting to support a growing practice.

With 5+ years of SQL Server experience, you will build complex queries, optimize performance, and assist in ERP integrations. You’ll partner with IT and consulting teams, document work, and help deploy upgrades for reliable data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, management or related field.
• 5+ years development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficient in SQL development (complex queries, stored procedures and user-defined functions) and performance tuning.
• Experience in professional services preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming, troubleshooting, technical & end-user support for Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Assist in integration of acquired ERP systems into Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Design and development systems that meet defined business requirements, to meet the operational, control and reporting needs of the organization.
• Develop complex queries and stored procedures using SQL and other tools as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations and Consultants to design, build and customize reports and reporting packages using SQL Server and/or other tools as necessary.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Research and develop new technology and tools as they relate to Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Manage source code versioning and deployments, as well as system upgrades and enhancements.
• Assist with the optimization of Deltek Vision, API Integration, SQL queries, stored procedures and overall database programming.

Working with IT, Finance and other internal stakeholders, design, program and implement new system functionality, improved user interface, and increased internal reporting capability creating value and increased productivity to users. In addition, the role will be heavily involved in integrating new acquisitions into the existing Deltek system.
