Job summary

Verdantas, a US-based environmental consulting and engineering firm, seeks an experienced Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint developer to design, program, and implement new system functionality and reporting capabilities. You will work with IT, Finance, and internal stakeholders, integrating acquisitions into the Deltek system and enhancing usability.

The role demands strong SQL skills, knowledge of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, and a track record of delivering data‑driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Management or related field.
• 5+ years development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficient in SQL development (complex queries, stored procedures and user defined functions) and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming, trouble shooting, technical & end‑user support for Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Assist in integration of acquired ERP systems into Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Knowledge in Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Design and development systems that meet defined business requirements, to meet the operational, control and reporting needs of the organization.
• Develop complex queries and stored procedures using SQL and other tools as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations and Consultants to design, build and customize reports and reporting packages using SQL Server and/or other tools as necessary.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Research and develop new technology and tools as they relate to Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Manage source code versioning and deployments, as well as system upgrades and enhancements.
• Assist with the optimization of Deltek Vision, API Integration, SQL queries, stored procedures and overall database programming.

Designing and implementing operation critical features within Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint. Working with IT, Finance and other internal stakeholders, design, program and implement new system functionality, improved user interface, and increased internal reporting capability creating value and increased productivity to users. In addition, the role will be heavily involved in integrating new acquisitions into the existing Deltek system.
