This physician leader will advance resource utilization, discharge planning, and patient throughput while ensuring medical necessity compliance.

The role requires an MD/DO/MBBS with Florida licensure, 5+ years of clinical practice, and physician advisory experience.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree required.
• Active Florida medical license in good standing.
• Experience in physician leadership and education is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide physician leadership and strategic oversight for utilization management and denial management.
• Review escalated cases involving patient status determination and medical necessity.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to improve workflows and outcomes.
• Educate providers regarding CMS regulations and documentation best practices.
• Analyze payer denials and resource utilization to drive performance improvement.
• Chair the Utilization Review Committee.
