Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Physician Advisor-Lead to join the Utilization Management team. This full-time role will lead and build the enterprise Physician Advisor program, setting clinical review standards across UF Health facilities and leading education initiatives.

The position reports to UM leadership, drives governance representation, manages vendor relationships, and champions clinical documentation integrity and case management processes across the system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active license in Florida.
• 5+ years in utilization review/management or hospital medicine.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine.
• ABQAURP or ACPA-C certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build UF Health's enterprise Physician Advisor program.
• Set clinical review standards across UF Health facilities.
• Represent Physician Advisor function in UM Committee governance.
• Own system-wide physician education curriculum.
• Coordinate with Physician Advisor vendor partners and manage escalations.
