Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. is seeking a System Analyst in Spring Valley to maintain and support a modern communications infrastructure across NY's Orange and Sullivan counties. You will work with a team to monitor LAN/WAN equipment, plan minor projects, and troubleshoot network and security tools.

This role requires after-hours on-call readiness. Responsibilities include installing cables, configuring UPS/ATS/PDUs, and documenting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Eng, Constr, Business or related field with 2+ years relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree with 4+ years relevant experience.
• High School diploma with 6+ years relevant experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and monitor LAN rooms and communications infrastructure in NY.
• Plan and manage LAN infrastructure projects: scopes, drawings, schedules, estimates.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP networks, 66/110 blocks cross-connects, SIP/T1/POTS.
• Monitor networks and support incident response teams.
• Install and maintain cables, equipment, UPS/ATS/PDUs, sensors.
• Be on-call 24/7 and participate in off-hour emergency responses.
