Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead a team delivering system integration for a complex military development program in the C4ISR Division. The role includes real-time operations of participants, data modeling/simulation, and a software/network environment for integrated operations.

The ideal candidate has government program experience, understanding of radar, networking, mod/sim, and intel components, and the ability to manage cost/schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field with applicable program experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a program manager for a technical effort with engineering teams.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Experience with modeling/simulation, radar, networking, and intel components a plus.
• Ability to organize a matrixed team, develop schedules, and control budgets.

Responsibilities

• Works with SDL management, the integration team, the Government program office, and stakeholders to ensure collaboration.
• Executes program cost and schedule planning and reporting.
• Leads complex system development by directing multiple engineers toward a common solution.
• Ensures clear deliverables with deadlines and coordinates with agencies to execute the contract.
• Identifies, tracks, mitigates risks and trades scope, cost, and schedule.
• Delivers contracted results and pursues new business opportunities.
