Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer for the Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and Missile Warning (MW) programs. The role is full-time in Colorado Springs, on-site, joining an Agile Modeling and Simulation team building high‑fidelity SDA radar models.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Mathematics and at least 4 years of SDA/Radar/Software or Signal Processing experience, plus strong MATLAB/SysML skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• 4 years of relevant SDA/Radar/Software or Signal Processing experience (2 years with a master’s).
• Active DoD security clearance preferred.
• Experience with MATLAB and SysML.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex radar algorithms
• Participate in Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming and Sprint Closeout
• Document algorithm designs in System Modeling Language (SysML)
• Design unit and integration tests to verify developed models
• Conduct Peer Reviews and Code Inspections on software designs
