System Manager of Retail Pharmacy Analytics and Finance

This is a remote position. The System Manager, Retail Pharmacy Analytics & Finance, is responsible for supporting the system-level strategy, vision, and business plans related to retail pharmacy services, including specialty pharmacy and mail order strategies, financial review and management, revenue cycle management, creating analytical tools for business operations improvement and sustainability, and business development. The manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities within these functional areas and other opportunities in close coordination with the System Director, Retail Pharmacy Services.

Responsibilities

• Support system-level strategy and business plans for retail pharmacy services, including specialty pharmacy and mail order.
• Manage financial review, revenue cycle, and operational analytics.
• Develop analytical tools for business improvement and sustainability.
• Coordinate activities across functional areas and with external partners.
• Foster effective relationships with business functions outside retail pharmacy, such as supply chain, finance, legal, IT, and vendors.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement revenue cycle management improvements for retail pharmacy.
• Collaborate with finance, revenue cycle, and other partners to develop strategic plans.
• Ensure compliance and sustainability of revenue cycle processes.
• Analyze retail pharmacy business lines for profitability and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and plan new business opportunities within retail pharmacy services.
• Define and monitor targets, metrics, and reporting for pharmacy services.
• Provide education and resources to staff at all levels.
• Manage vendor relationships and solutions.
• Develop and maintain operational policies and processes.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of leadership experience, or 5 years of leadership experience in the discipline, or an MBA.
• Experience in financial performance and compliance programs.
• Healthcare finance background required.
• Understanding of revenue cycle, pharmacy benefits, supply chain, and business principles.
• Experience in pharmacy operations, systems, technology, and personnel management at a director or manager level.

Pay Range
