Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This entry level position offers on-the-job training for those new to the healthcare field, while also welcoming experienced CNAs seeking a supportive workplace.

You will help improve hospital throughput and patient experience by floating between departments as staffing allows. Shift details include Full Time Day shifts, 6:45am–7:15pm, with three shifts per week across multiple metro locations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of applicable healthcare experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; RQI/CPI preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, nutrition, hydration, mobility).
• Anticipates the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
• Individualizes and modifies care according to the patient’s needs.
• Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance patient care.

This is a great entry level position with on the job training available for an applicant that has been interested in joining the healthcare field but is not specifically certified. This opportunity is also a great position for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) that is looking for a supportive workplace to call home. You will have the opportunitytohelp improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience by floating between departments as needed based on staffing and patient care needs. Shift Details: Full Time Days 6:45am-7:15pm, 3 shifts per week ; Floats between all 4 metro locations: Saint Luke's Plaza, East, North, South, & Smithville
The Work:
