Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This entry level position offers on-the-job training for those new to the healthcare field, while also welcoming experienced CNAs seeking a supportive workplace.

You will help improve hospital throughput and patient experience by floating between departments as staffing allows. Shift details include Full Time Day shifts, 6:45am–7:15pm, with three shifts per week across multiple metro locations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of applicable healthcare experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; RQI/CPI preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, nutrition, hydration, mobility).
• Anticipates the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
• Individualizes and modifies care according to the patient’s needs.
• Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance patient care.
