Job summary

FLASH Technology Group is seeking a System Engineer II in Maryland to fill a key role requiring a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. You will manage system requirements, contribute to architecture under DoDAF/SOA, and help produce essential systems engineering documents while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include developing requirements, allocating resources across components, guiding design reviews, and supporting lifecycle integration of production systems.

Qualifications

• Manage system requirements to ensure production systems align with architecture.
• Develop sections of SE documentation (SE Plans, ICDs, requirements specs).
• Allocate resources and verify system interactions across components.
• Coordinate action items from reviews and cross-discipline meetings.
• Derive stakeholder needs from system requirements and functional analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with defined architectures.
• Contribute to DoDAF/SOA architecture descriptions and related documentation.
• Develop SE documentation such as SE Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Interface Control Documents.
• Assist with development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation across components.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from CCB, design reviews, and test reviews.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities.
• Allocate real-time budgets to system components and generate design solutions.
• Define verification criteria and write plans to validate systems and subsystems.
• Review WBS, work packages, and IMP input for program planning.
• Interface with stakeholders across life cycle and derive essential functions.
