Job summary

Flash Technology Group is seeking a System Engineer II with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to manage system requirements, support DoDAF/SOA architectures, and contribute to SE documentation and system design. You will coordinate cross-discipline activities, work with CCBs and program reviews, and help allocate budgets for system components.

The role emphasizes designing new capabilities, validating requirements, and collaborating in Integrated Product Teams.

Qualifications

• Fourteen years of experience as a SE in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five years of additional SE experience may substitute for a BS degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production systems align with defined architectures.
• Develop sections of systems engineering documentation (SEPs, ICs, Requirements specifications, ICDs).
• Assist with development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of components.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from CCB, design reviews, and tests requiring cross-discipline coordination.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on evaluations.
• Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to system components.
• Generate alternate system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions.
• Define methods and evaluation criteria to verify systems against requirements.
• Develop system design solutions that satisfy requirements and functional analysis.
• Review inputs to WBS, work packages, and the Integrated Master Plan (IMP).
• Interface definition and changes to configuration between groups throughout the lifecycle.
• Derive stakeholder needs and essential functions from system requirements.
