Job summary

Gladiatoremergence seeks a Level 2 System Engineer for an on-site role at Fort Meade, MD. The candidate will provide technical direction across development, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems, aligning with DoDAF standards and JCIDS processes.

Clearances required: TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly at start. Qualifications include 14 years in SE, a related Bachelor's degree, and a BICSI certification for building fit ups.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years of SE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity required.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
• BICSI certified Registered Communications Distribution Designer required for Building Fit Ups.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
• Implement DoDAF architecture views and system standards across programs.
• Develop scenarios and operational concepts describing system interactions with users and environment.
• Review and approve system engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct quantitative analysis in non-functional areas like reliability, maintainability, and vulnerability.
• Coordinate system integration activities across multiple teams and capture interface designs.
• Prepare time-line analyses and track changes to requirements with stakeholder buy-in.
• Support DoD Certification/ Accreditation processes and JCIDS documentation.
