Job summary

Strategic Management Solutions, LLC (SMSI) is hiring multiple System Engineers to support Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The role involves implementing conduct of engineering and maintenance programs for critical equipment and support systems onsite at LANL.

The successful candidate will follow LANL CoE standards, work with project teams, manage requirements tracking, and ensure design verification. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Q clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering and 10 years of work-related experience.
• Post graduate degree, certifications, and training in leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement conduct of engineering and conduct of maintenance programs for critical equipment and support systems.
• Plan and perform work requiring sound technical/business judgment in evaluation, organization, and execution of equipment and system assignments.
• Follow the LANL Conduct of Engineering (CoE) Program in support of facility modifications and facility configuration management.
