Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Cyber Threat Intelligence initiative. Lead systems engineering across lifecycle phases and collaborate with software and systems teams to build cloud-based solutions for federal customers.

You will interact with government stakeholders, define requirements, and create architecture and design documentation, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 15288 processes and delivering high-quality artifacts.

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) initiative which defends our nation’s most critical unclassified and classified networks. This role is part of the Collection team. The Senior Systems Engineer will work with software development and systems engineering teams to develop cloud-based solutions in line with customer mission needs, collaborating with multi‑disciplined technical teams to develop requirements, plan deployments, and manage customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.
  • Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288:
  • Technical Process Area: Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
  • Project Process Area: Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  • Enterprise Process Area: Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  • Agreement Process Area: Acquisition and Supply.
Key Activities
  • Strong customer outreach and product marketing skills for interfacing with mission and capabilities partners.
  • Experience with data sharing policies and authorizations, both internal to customer and external partnerships.
  • Experience with data thread engineering, to include multi‑domain (TS, S, U) threading.
  • Experience with developing system architecture and design planning documentation.
  • Experience with capturing and documenting artifacts with Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Service provider offerings, specifically AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of general cloud computing and big data analysis.
Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience, OR
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience, OR
  • A Ph D in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
Security Requirements

This position requires PRIVAC. Candidates must have a current (within 7 years) polygraph and/or currently possess the minimum level of PRIVAC required for this role (NSYS). Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and a position‑appropriate security clearance is required (e.g., Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph).
