Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support a high-visibility malware analysis modernization program for federal customers. The role requires engineering excellence, security clearance, and experience across Linux, virtualization, storage, and networking.

Work spans Agile, DevOps, and test-driven development practices. The candidate will collaborate with government stakeholders, ensure system integrity, and drive lifecycle activities from concept to retirement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 10 years of systems engineering experience.
  • HS diploma plus 14 years of systems engineering experience.
  • Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 8 years of systems engineering experience.
  • PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus 8 years of systems engineering experience.

  • Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
  • Oversees Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
  • Manages Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  • Directs Enterprise Process Area tasks: Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, HR Management, and Quality Management.
  • Handles Acquisition and Supply within the Agreement Process Area.

We are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator (in an SE4 LCAT) to support a high priority and highly visible malware analysis modernization program. The role supports a large software development program developing, operating, and maintaining mission critical enterprise capabilities. The program includes development and support for existing mission systems in parallel with efforts to develop and deliver modernized cyber analysis, orchestration, and data enrichment products. The team applies Agile methodology, DevOps principles and test‑driven development practices.

Responsibilities

Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.

  • Technical Process Area – Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal

This position requires PRIVAC. Candidate must have a current (within 7 years) poly and/or currently possess the minimum level of PRIVAC required for this role (NSYS).

This position is eligible for a $5k bonus! (Includes 20% SEP IRA contribution)
