Job summary

Outrigger Hotels Hawaii is seeking a System Engineer to maintain the stability, security, and performance of our corporate network and IT systems. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure while collaborating with colleagues and vendors around the world.

This role includes an on-call rotation after hours and weekends, and hotel-industry experience is preferred. Base pay ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, with opportunity for growth based on skill and education.

Qualifications

• Five years of IT experience in hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Hotel industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Solid knowledge of core networking principles.

Job Responsibilities

The System Engineer supports the stability, security, and performance of the corporate network and IT systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. This role uses strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues, maximize system efficiency, and support organizational operations while maintaining professionalism when working with employees and vendors across all levels of the global organization. This position participates in an on‑call rotation for after hours and weekend support.

Minimum Requirements

Five years of experience within the IT space directly related to computer hardware and software maintenance, as well as network connectivity on user workstations and corporate servers within a mid‑to‑large scale company. Hotel industry experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, with a solid understanding of core networking principles, including standard network administration tools and methodologies.

Compensation

While base pay starts at $75,000-85,000 there is potential for a higher salary based on factors such as applicant skill, experience, education.
