System Engineer

Job summary

Net2Source Inc. seeks a robotics/automation systems engineer to translate requirements into system-level specs and define the overall architecture across machine subsystems.

You will decompose features, collaborate on design tradeoffs, and develop hardware-software-integrated solutions with a focus on sensors, control systems, and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering or Robotics or equivalent technical field.
• 5 years of relevant engineering development work
• Familiarity with software development processes
• Experience reading and understanding prints for components and wiring harnesses
• Experience writing and tracking requirements
• Strong understanding of integrating sensors and compute as well as tradeoffs
• Great teamwork, communication, analysis, and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, able to learn quickly and commit time to complete tasks.
• Experience in robotics, remote control, or autonomy
• Experience with datalinks (CAN, Ethernet, etc.) and associated tools
• Experience with software development tools such as git, debuggers, and compilers
• Experience with ROS
• Experience with perception and positioning sensor configuration and calibration
• Experience with FMEA processes and knowledge of electronic system failure modes
• Experience developing systems for mobile, earthmoving, agricultural, industrial, or off-highway applications
