Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned systems engineer to support mission-critical programs in the United States. The role demands hands-on experience in systems engineering, software integration, and automation to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph eligibility or ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Ability to work in-person at CAC I facilities in Sterling, VA, Sarasota, FL, or Denver, CO.
At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, systems integration, solution architecture, or related technical fields.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with mission management applications or enterprise data integration.
Experience integrating software applications, enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and distributed technologies.
Familiarity with system testing and automated application testing frameworks.
Strong grasp of systems engineering principles and the system development lifecycle.
Experience designing or implementing automation for operational efficiency.
Advanced technical writing skills, including architecture documentation, interface control documents, system diagrams, procedures, and engineering artifacts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while staying aligned with strategic objectives.
Demonstrated capability to independently prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
Experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian Suite tools, including Jira and Confluence.
