Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Engineer for the ASBX Pyxis ADC team at HQ2 in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on building and operating scalable services in air-gapped environments, with emphasis on deployment automation, testing infrastructure, and configuration management.

The ideal candidate will tackle complex distributed systems, own cross-partition automation, and help ensure secure, reliable shipping of workloads. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell or Ruby.
• Experience with automation tools for building, testing, releasing or monitoring.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and Linux in distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Review deployment health across isolated regions and monitor alarms.
• Perform code reviews for cross-partition automation fixes.
• Participate in design discussions for new ASBX service capabilities in air-gapped environments.
• Troubleshoot deployment pipeline issues and ship fixes.
