Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks an engineer to join the ASBX Astra ADC team in Herndon, VA. You will build, deploy, and operate services across isolated environments, ensuring reliability and air-gapped deployment parity.

You’ll tackle complex distributed systems challenges, drive automation, and participate in design discussions to scale AWS infrastructure. The role requires strong Linux fundamentals, experience in large-scale distributed settings, and deep networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of networking/storage/OS experience.
• Experience with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, etc.).
• Current, active Top Secret/SCI clearance or above.
