Job summary

HRU-Tech in Oshkosh, WI seeks a System Designer/Associate to develop, modify, and document mechanical and vehicle-system designs using CATIA V5, with Windchill and Creo experience valued. You will create 2D drawings and 3D assemblies, support harness and cable routing, and collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready designs.

Onsite during the first week; remote thereafter, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Requires CATIA V5 experience and CAD modeling
• Experience with harness and/or cable routing
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Familiarity with GD&T and CAD standards

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain engineering designs using CATIA V5 and other CAD tools
• Develop 2D drawings and 3D models/assemblies for mechanical and vehicle-system applications
• Perform and support harness/cable routing within vehicle/system environments
• Support basic mechanical component design and system integration activities
• Develop designs meeting engineering, manufacturing, packaging, and product requirements
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Apply CAD standards, engineering specifications, and GD&T principles
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams to produce production-ready designs
• Travel up to 25% as required
