Job summary

HRU-Tech seeks a Project Engineer — Combat Vehicle Systems in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The role leads complex engineering programs across mechanical, electrical, software, controls, and vehicle disciplines to meet technical, schedule, budget, and customer requirements.

You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to integrate weapon systems onto vehicle platforms, develop plans, estimate labor, manage subcontracts, and present status and risks to government customers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 2+ years of engineering project management experience for medium+ complexity projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and electro-mechanical system integration.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R.
• Experience managing NDAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering projects involving mechanical, electrical, software, controls, and vehicle systems.
• Indirectly lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
• Break down technical and system requirements into executable tasks.
• Estimate labor, resources, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate technical proposals, evaluations, and presentations.
• Manage supplier relationships and NDAs.
