Job summary

Duke Health seeks a System Chief Radiation Therapy to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for radiation therapy services across the Duke Health system. This role oversees staffing, daily operations, quality, and performance across multiple sites, partnering with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and revenue cycle teams to ensure safe, efficient cancer care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field required.
• ARRT certification (RT(T)) required.
• Minimum 5 years of radiation therapy clinical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in radiation oncology preferred.
• Experience in an academic medical center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-wide leadership for radiation therapy services across all sites.
• Align clinical and operational priorities with physicians and leadership.
• Direct staffing models, workflow, and care delivery across sites.
• Standardize workflows, treatment protocols, and policies.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of radiation therapy in accordance with standards.
• Lead adoption of new technologies and equipment.
• Develop and implement workforce development and onboarding programs.
• Monitor quality metrics, safety events, and regulatory compliance.
