Job Title: Systems Analyst – HRMS / UAT Lead
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6-7 months (potential for extension)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support HR technology initiatives, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in PeopleSoft HRMS. This role will be integral to the delivery of high-quality HR solutions by coordinating testing efforts, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts across HR-related systems, with a focus on PeopleSoft.
- Develop test plans, test scripts, and use cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and test outcomes are validated.
- Facilitate UAT sessions, track issues, document findings, and communicate results with relevant teams.
- Validate system functionality and data integrity across multiple user access profiles and downstream systems.
- Support HRMS configuration, troubleshooting, and implementation activities.
- Document defects, enhancement requests, and follow up on resolutions through to closure.
- Provide training and guidance to end users on system functionality and changes.
- Stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in HR technology to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Agile or SDLC-based project planning and implementation efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and HR technology.
- Strong preference for hands-on PeopleSoft HRMS experience (or equivalent enterprise HR system).
- Proven experience creating and managing UAT strategies, test plans, and test scripts.
- Deep understanding of HR processes, including payroll, benefits, and employee records.
- Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical documentation and testing scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills to work with both technical teams and business users.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple testing tracks and timelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SQL or database querying is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Understanding of compliance and security requirements in HR systems.
