Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a System Analyst for their Downtown, Manhattan office. This is a 1-year contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule requiring 3-4 days in the office. The ideal candidate will ensure the implementation of safety programs, provide LAN/WAN support, and assist with technical equipment.

Applicants should have experience with Windows 11, a bachelor's degree in computer science, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. Additional skills preferred include knowledge of Remote Access Technologies.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of lifting 50+ pounds, bending, stooping.
• Provide off-hours on-call support if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for all LAN/WAN initiatives for Central Engineering.
• Assist in the support and diagnosis of computer equipment.
• Create and update technical procedural documentation.
• Train personnel in the application of current projects.
• Image, install, and support Engineering workstations and laptops.
• Support document management system (Adept).
• Act as liaison between users and Help Center.

Skills

Experience with Windows 11 and MS Office 365

Working knowledge of Remote Access Technologies

Drivers License required

Overview

A major client of ours has a need for a System Analyst for their Downtown, Manhattan office. This is a 1 year + contract opportunity and a hybrid schedule with 3-4 days in the office.

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Ensure implementation of Company safety, health, and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected per Company policy and governmental regulations.
• Commitment to the Way We Work Principles and adheres to the Company's Standards of Business Conduct and other Company procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety ("EH&S"), Equal Employment Opportunity ("EEO"), discipline, and security.
• Provide support for all LAN/WAN initiatives for Central Engineering.
• Assist in the support, diagnosis, and configuring of computer equipment.
• Create and update technical procedural documentation as needed.
• Train personnel in the application of current projects, and the procedures, processes, and programs of CE.
• Image, install, and support Engineering and workstations, laptops, tablets (Surface, Lenovo laptops, etc.), and associated equipment.
• Support and administer Central Engineering's document and drawing management system (Adept).
• Work with contracted vendors to resolve issues.
• Provide off-hours on-call support when necessary.
• Act as the liaison between department users and the Help Center in solving trouble tickets.
• Install and troubleshoot software/applications on Central Engineering servers.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all workstations, laptops, tablets, printers, plotters, and peripheral equipment.
• Manage projects assigned by his or her manager.
• Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Skills
