Job Title: Control Center LAN Admin

Location: New York, NY

Job Description

We are seeking a Control Center LAN Administrator to provide hands-on technical and administrative support for the Client’s Distribution Control Center. This role ensures the availability, performance, and security of endpoint systems and network infrastructure supporting critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and workstation systems
• Perform system updates, patching, upgrades, and OS-level troubleshooting
• Monitor and support LAN/network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Support DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP configuration (manual and automated)
• Provide onsite and remote end-user support
• Manage ServiceNow ticket queues and escalations through resolution
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and DR testing
• Monitor system logs and support security controls and audits
• Maintain system documentation, asset tracking, and reporting
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution and upgrades
• Support hardware decommissioning and business moves/changes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years IT experience OR
• Associate degree / technical certification + 4 years IT experience
• Strong experience with desktop/workstation imaging and administration
• PowerShell proficiency (required)
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
• Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, and networking

Preferred Skills

• Experience in control center or mission-critical environments
• Strong documentation, communication, and customer support skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Additional Requirements
