Job summary

Concurrent Technologies Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Computer and Information Systems Engineer Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of defense-focused IT infrastructure. You will drive system integration, cybersecurity, and compliance initiatives while mentoring staff.

The role requires leadership in RMF/NIST 800-53/CMMC, DoD standards, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet mission objectives. Secret/TS clearance viability is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years IT systems engineering, administration, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
• Expertise in cybersecurity principles including RMF, NIST 800-53, and CMMC compliance.
• Proven experience in system design, integration, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and deployment of complex IT systems within DoD standards (e.g., DISA STIGs, RMF).
• Oversee system performance monitoring and optimization with Splunk, SolarWinds, and similar tools.
• Develop strategies for system upgrades, migrations, and modernization.
• Manage virtualized and cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments and incident response.
