Job summary

A defense consulting firm in Maryland is seeking a Front Line Engineer to support the NSA. Overview

This position shall support the NSA onsite in the role of NetDef FLE/Front Line Engineer/Watch Desk.

Minimum Skills and Clearance

MUST HAVE an active/current TS/SCI Full Scope Poly

Duties

• Lead the effort to set up, configure, and load system software and hardware
• Provide system administration support of computers, servers, racks of equipment, and figure/manage LAN interfaces
• Provide support for web development, testing, system integration, installation scripts, and other duties to support systems and network infrastructure

Minimum Requirements and Required Qualifications

• Solid Linux command line skills
• Must be willing/able to work shift/nights
• Ten years of experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and trouble shooting of LAN, computer hardware, and software
• Experience performing and assisting with equipment specification, setup, problem resolution, and network support related to computer hardware and software
• Experience providing assistance to users
• Experience optimizing system operations
• Experience ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and system currency

• Must Have active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly, NSA

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in related field OR no degree + 8 additional years of experience OR AA/AS + 6 additional years of experience
