GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB).

May serve as a technical team or task leader.
Provides technical support to individual training and small, medium and large collective training events / exercises in accordance with the established MTC training program.
Monitor and maintain the health and performance of systems
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
Deploy, configure and troubleshoot network devices (to include cables) for exercises, training events and/or special projects
Configure and optimize systems to meet operational requirements
Integrate various components and systems in an LVC environment
Collaborate with other branches to ensure system compatibility and interoperability
Implement and manage security policies and configurations
Maintain documentation for system configurations and changes
Implement and manage security policies and configurations
Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and/or customer personnel
Serves as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced system administrator
Follows DoD Directives and Instructions 8140, 8570-01-M, Army regulations AR 25-2, NIST Special Publications 800-53, 800-39
Participates in special projects as required
