Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Intelligence & Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT) Operator I to support the MTCCS II program at Fort Bragg, NC. This onsite, part-time role leverages your experience in military training and C2IS/sim-stim systems to deliver training events and testing.

You will lead planning teams, develop training scenarios, and coordinate with customers to meet objectives, while maintaining a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required or equivalent
• Minimum of 2+ years of military training and training support experience
• Hands on expertise and understanding of C2IS and Sim-Stim systems and integration
• Robust knowledge of Army and Joint Event Life Cycle and planning processes, simulation architecture and both simulation and tactical network architectures
• Superb understanding on MTC operations
• Superb presentation and communication skills; ability to explain JELC/ELM requirements to leadership in non-technical terms
• Ability to lead a planning team to create high-fidelity, realistic training events in Live, Virtual, and Constructive environments

Responsibilities

• Delivers small, medium and large collective training events/exercises in accordance with the MTC training program.
• Delivers Intelligence scenario development and analysis.
• Develops training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on client specifications.
• Develops training products including procedures for an integrated federation of C2IS and LVC systems.
• Participates in Event/Exercise lifecycle management (planning, preparation, execution, recovery, AAR).
• Designs and configures systems to meet training requirements with client input.
• Develops training environments unique to unit training requirements.
• Performs setup, testing, troubleshooting, and modification of systems.
• Participates in internal AARs post-training.
• Maintains PDCP certification; other duties as required.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

• Delivers small, medium and large collective training events / exercises in accordance within the established MTC training program.
• Delivers Intelligence scenario development and analysis.
• Supports Unit Commander’s Training Objectives by developing training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with client / user specifications.
• Develops TSP training products that include comprehensive operational procedures for an integrated federation of Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS) and Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) simulation / stimulation systems.
• Participates in Event / Exercise lifecycle management (planning, preparation, execution and recovery, AAR). Consults with users to design, create, and configure systems to meet their training requirements.
• Develops training environments that are unique to unit training requirements.
• Completes setup and configuration of systems, conducts testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required.
• Participates in internal AARs upon completion of training
• Certifies IAW the Professional Development and Certification Program (PDCP)
• Performs other duties as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: BA/BS, Subject Immaterial
• Required Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of military training and training support experience
• Required Technical Skills:
  • Hands on expertise and understanding of C2IS and Sim-Stim systems and integration;
  • Robust knowledge of the Army and Joint Event Life Cycle and planning processes, simulation architecture and both simulation and tactical network architectures;
  • Superb understanding on MTC operations
• Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Superb presentation and communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on JELC / ELM requirements and Simulation objectives
  • Must be able to lead a planning team to create a high-fidelity, realistic training event in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements
• Security Clearance: Secret clearance required to start
• Location: Onsite, Fort Bragg, NC
