What You Will Do
- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of basic to moderate scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.
- Execute actions as directed by senior staff and project management.
- Engage in cross-team collaboration and align with expectations of leadership team.
- Manage ESXi, VCenter and Microsoft windows domains.
- Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
- Experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.
- Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.
- Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
- Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
- Travel required as business needs dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.
- Full time 100% Onsite position.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Must have an active Secret US security clearance.
- US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for security clearance.
- Experience Deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data.
- Experience with cloning techniques.
- Use and guide use of automation tools e.g. Ansible.
- Experience with operating system concepts and implementations.
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).
- Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.
- Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
