ProTech IT Solutions, a New Charter Technologies Company, in Torrington, CT, is seeking a System Administrator to deliver on-site and remote IT support for our clients. You will manage Windows Server environments, Office 365, and basic network services.

This MSP role rewards proactive problem solving, clear communication, and teamwork. Requirements include 3+ years with Windows Server, strong networking skills, and a willingness to relocate or commute to Torrington.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
• Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
• Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.
• Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.
• Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management.
• Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
• Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.

We are seeking a skilled and client-focused System Administrator to join our team. This role supports clients both remotely and on-site. We’re looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and technically adept professional who thrives in a team setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional IT support and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• College degree in IT or related field and relevant certifications.
