Job summary

Dealer Tire, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, supporting Windows and Linux environments, VMware, Active Directory, and cloud platforms. The role involves security, maintenance, and operational support across enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in Windows and Linux environments, experience with Citrix/MECM, and strong automation skills, with on‑call rotation and opportunities to explore AI-enabled improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years Windows operating systems experience (Windows 2016/2019/2022/2025).
• 3+ years Linux operating systems experience (RedHat 7/8, SUSE 15/16).
• Experience with Citrix or similar environment.
• Experience configuring/troubleshooting OS-level network services (DNS, DHCP, DFS).
• Strong automation and AI tool adoption experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), CA, SSO, Enterprise Apps.
• Maintain AWS and Microsoft Azure resources; troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues.
• Manage VMware vSphere, virtual machines; monitor infrastructure health and performance.
• Identify and remediate OS and infrastructure vulnerabilities; participate in vulnerability management.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and lifecycle management of Linux and Windows servers.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, OUs, and GPOs; administer DNS, DHCP, DFS, and related services.
• Support Kubernetes clusters (on-premises or cloud); assist deployments and troubleshooting of containers.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and document procedures/solutions.
• Coordinate with Network Engineers, Business Analysts, and DBAs for client/server implementations.
• Establish and adhere to company metrics for uptime and response times.
• Interact with vendors; oversee license compliance.
• Develop SOPs and promote standard operating procedures.
• Proactively recommend improvements to physical and virtual infrastructures.

Position Summary

Systems Administrator responsible for administration, maintenance, security, and operational support of the organization’s on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, supporting Windows and Linux operating systems, VMware environments, Active Directory services, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Configure Conditional Access, Single sign‑on (SSO), Enterprise Apps.
• Maintain AWS and Microsoft Azure resources; troubleshoot cloud‑based infrastructure and application issues.
• Manage VMware vSphere, virtual machines; monitor infrastructure health and resolve performance issues.
• Identify, assess, and remediate operating system and infrastructure vulnerabilities; participate in vulnerability management and compliance meetings.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers; perform system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, OUs, and Group Policies; administer DNS, DHCP, DFS, and related infrastructure services.
• Support Kubernetes clusters (on‑premises or cloud); assist with deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of containerized workloads.
• Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and operational issues; document procedures and technical solutions.
• Coordinate with Network Engineers, Business Analyst, and Database Administrators for client/server implementations.
• Establish and adhere to company metrics for system uptime, problem response, and resolution.
• Interact with hardware and software vendors; oversee license compliance.
• Develop and promote standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Proactively recommend improvements to physical and virtual infrastructures to support business requirements.
• Analyze and resolve hardware/software issues through backup processes or other techniques.
• Prepare schedules for nightly backups with application teams.
• Ensure integrity and security of enterprise data during transfer and storage.
• Participate in a 24x7 off‑hour/on‑call schedule on a rotating basis.
• Explore and implement AI tools to streamline and automate processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft operating systems and applications (Windows 2016/2019/2022/2025).
• 3+ years with Linux operating systems (RedHat 7/8, SUSE 15/16).
• Minimum 1 year supporting Citrix or similar environment.
• Understanding of Citrix, MECM, and backup software for an 800+ server environment.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting network services at the OS level across Linux and Windows.
• Strong technical automation and AI tool adoption.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Physical Job Requirements

• Install/remove rack‑mounted servers and PC hardware (switches, printers, etc.).
• Work at a computer screen for extended periods.
• Lift and move computer devices up to 50lbs.
• Travel as necessary (<10%).
• Participate in a 24x7 off‑hour/on‑call schedule on a rotating basis.
