Job summary

Dealer Tire, LLC is seeking a Compensation professional to lead non-exempt pay strategy, market analysis, and program administration. You will analyze trends, manage reports, and ensure fair, compliant compensation across the organization.

Responsibilities include Workday data maintenance, merit and incentive program administration, and collaboration with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs on offers, promotions, and transfers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR/business discipline preferred.
  • 2+ years of compensation administration experience.
  • Knowledge of market pricing, salary structures, pay equity, and compliance.

  • Develop and oversee compensation strategy and market analyses for non‑exempt roles.
  • Create and manage compensation reports and cost‑of‑labor data.
  • Ensure pay equity and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Assist in communications and tools for compensation changes and offers.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs on offers for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
  • Manage Workday data accuracy (grades, plans, assignments) and offers review.

Job description

Base Pay Range: $72,000-$85,000

Responsibilities
  • Compensation Strategy & Market Analysis
    • Evaluate and monitor industry compensation trends, survey data, and local market developments that impact non‑exempt positions including technicians, distribution centers, tire stores, and field roles.
    • Create and manage compensation reports in the Compensation Management tool to assess program competitiveness, evaluate initiative effectiveness, and use data for strategic decisions.
    • Assist in conducting pay equity analyses to ensure fair and consistent compensation practices across the organization.
    • Evaluate job positions, collaborate with legal to determine FLSA classification, write job descriptions, establish pay ranges and compile cost‑of‑labor and cost‑of‑living data.
    • Support all entities within The Dealer Tire Family of Companies with non‑exempt compensation market reviews, consulting with Talent Acquisition teams and HRBPs and providing guidance on offers for new hires, internal promotions, and transfers.
  • Compensation Programs & Compliance
    • Develop and oversee non‑exempt compensation programs, conducting scenario analyses to inform recommendations for program administration, expansion, or targeted pay adjustments.
    • Ensure compensation programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Assist in managing compensation change initiatives by developing strategic communications and creating comprehensive guides and tools.
    • Manage incentive and bonus plan communication and administration for all non‑exempt roles.
    • Partner with the Senior Compensation Specialist on the annual merit process administration.
    • Partner with the business to annually update incentive programs including sales commission plans, departmental plans, and Profit Sharing plans.
  • Workday Administration & Business Partnership
    • Maintain compensation data and ensure accuracy in Workday, including grades, grade profiles, plans, and assignments.
    • Review all offers of employment within Workday to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Process wage and salary adjustments in Workday due to merit increases, market adjustments, promotions, or other job changes.
    • Drive accountability of compensation decisions and strategy with strong partnerships that support pay equity and DEI initiatives.

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of compensation administration experience with demonstrated knowledge of compensation methodologies and practices.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles such as market pricing, salary structures, pay equity, and compliance.
Physical Job Requirements
  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Travel required (<10%).
