Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to optimize a hybrid IT environment with strong Azure and Microsoft 365 expertise. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, identity management, endpoint services, collaboration platforms, and security controls across Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Azure infrastructure and services.
• Manage Azure VMs, networking, firewall, storage, and resource groups.
• Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Monitor resource usage, performance, and cost optimization.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Implement and maintain Azure security controls and Conditional Access.

• Configure Defender and Purview security/compliance features.

• Administer Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft 365 tenant administration to support and optimize a hybrid enterprise IT environment. This role is responsible for administering cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, endpoint services, collaboration platforms, and security/compliance controls across Microsoft technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing Azure services, Microsoft 365 environments, hybrid Active Directory integrations, automation, and enterprise security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Administration

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
• Manage Azure Virtual Machines, networking, firewall, storage accounts, and resource groups
• Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
• Monitor Azure resource utilization, performance, and cost optimization
• Support Azure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
• Implement and maintain Azure security controls and Conditional Access policies

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including:
  • Exchange Online
  • SharePoint Online
