Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Garner, NC is seeking a Syrup Blender to manufacture syrup from concentrate for bottling operations. You will blend syrups, manage concentrate inventory, and perform lab duties as part of a fast-paced production team.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to procedures to ensure high-quality beverage production. A high school diploma or GED is required; forklift certification may be needed. Visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year production or technical experience preferred.
• Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills; good written and oral communication; and good organizational skills.
• Analytical thought process and good hand/eye coordination required.
• Must follow established procedures without deviation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team.
• Must be able to complete forklift certification.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Blends syrup.
• Calculates number of concentrate flavor units by converting production case figures to finished gallons.
• Builds recipes to specifications.
• Receives concentrate and high fructose corn syrup.
• Maintains concentrate and high fructose corn syrup inventory.
• Conducts associated lab duties.
• Follows all company rules and regulations.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Syrup Blender Role Overview

Manufactures syrup that is used in the bottling process from concentrate.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Blends syrup.
• Calculates number of concentrate flavor units required by converting production case figures to equivalent finished gallons of syrup.
• Builds recipes to specifications.
• Receives concentrate and high fructose corn syrup.
• Maintains concentrate and high fructose corn syrup inventory.
• Conducts associated lab duties.
• Follows all company rules and regulations.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
