Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Syrup Blender to join our team in the United States. The role involves manufacturing syrup from concentrate for bottling processes, blending syrups, and building recipes to spec.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Forklift certification may be required, and prior GMP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year production or technical experience preferred.
• Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills, good written and oral communication skills, and good organizational skills required.
• Analytical thought process and good hand/eye coordination required.
• Must follow established procedures without deviation and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures syrup that is used in the bottling process from concentrate.
• Blends syrup.
• Calculates number of concentrate flavor units required by converting production case figures to equivalent finished gallons of syrup.
• Builds recipes to specifications.
• Receives concentrate and high fructose corn syrup.
• Maintains concentrate and high fructose corn syrup inventory.
• Conducts associated lab duties.
• Follows all company rules and regulations.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Syrup Blender Role Overview

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Blends syrup.
• Calculates number of concentrate flavor units required by converting production case figures to equivalent finished gallons of syrup.
• Builds recipes to specifications.
