Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Syrup Blender to manufacture syrup from concentrate for our bottling operations. You will blend syrup, calculate production quantities, build recipes to specifications, and help maintain concentrate inventories across the shift.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year production or technical experience preferred.
• Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills required; strong communication and organization.
• Analytical thinking and good hand/eye coordination required.
• Must be able to follow established procedures without deviation in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Blends syrup.
• Calculates number of concentrate flavor units required by converting production case figures to equivalent finished gallons of syrup.
• Builds recipes to specifications.
• Receives concentrate and high fructose corn syrup.
• Maintains concentrate and high fructose corn syrup inventory.
• Conducts associated lab duties.
• Follows all company rules and regulations.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

We also create our own beverages, producing and distributing them to our customers’ warehouses nationally. Syrup Blender Role Overview

Manufactures syrup that is used in the bottling process from concentrate.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Blends syrup.
