Job summary

Bank of China in New York seeks a Syndication Loan Process Associate to ensure timely operation and administration of syndicated loan and standby letters of credit, aligned with credit terms and regulations. You will review loan requests, process bookings and amendments, prepare SWIFT messages, coordinate with Treasury, and monitor fees and reconciliations.

The role also encompasses risk and compliance duties and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Understanding of secondary trades and reconciliation of payments.
• Basic accounting principles required.
• Experience in financing and banking is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Syndication Loan Transaction/Administration activities including reviewing loan requests and processing bookings, amendments, and fees.
• Prepare SWIFT messages and funding with Treasury; reconcile and monitor fees and payments.
• Maintain loan files and monitor due dates, past due payments, and reconciliations; ensure compliance with procedures.
