Geo-Technology Associates Inc. in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Construction Technician to support field inspections of stormwater plans. You will visit construction sites to perform SWPPP inspections and verify erosion and sediment control measures are installed and functioning.

The role offers hands-on training, opportunities for certifications, and the chance to work outdoors with a team. You must own a reliable vehicle, have a valid driver's license, and be comfortable working solo or with others.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
SWPPP certification provided through EPA or DEQ is a plus, but not required.
Own a reliable vehicle, have a valid driver’s license, and have a good driving record.
Enjoy working outdoors.
Ability to work alone as well as in a group setting.

Responsibilities

Visit construction sites to perform SWPPP inspections ensuring erosion and sediment control elements are installed and functioning.
Prepare a summary report with photographs of deficient areas and systems at the end of each inspection.
Perform SWPPP inspections at various sites through Virginia, reporting findings.
