The role offers hands-on training, opportunities for certifications, and the chance to work outdoors with a team. You must own a reliable vehicle, have a valid driver's license, and be comfortable working solo or with others.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• SWPPP certification provided through EPA or DEQ is a plus, but not required.
• Own a reliable vehicle, have a valid driver’s license, and have a good driving record.
• Enjoy working outdoors.
• Ability to work alone as well as in a group setting.

Responsibilities

• Visit construction sites to perform SWPPP inspections ensuring erosion and sediment control elements are installed and functioning.
• Prepare a summary report with photographs of deficient areas and systems at the end of each inspection.
• Perform SWPPP inspections at various sites through Virginia, reporting findings.
