Job summary

The Garrett Companies is seeking a Storm Water Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of stormwater systems. This on-site role involves heavy physical labor in various weather conditions, using trucks, trench machines, skid steers, and hand tools, while following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include BMP maintenance, debris removal, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks, with training provided for equipment use as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor in all weather conditions.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Coachable and able to work as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain stormwater systems and BMPs as directed.
• Operate equipment including truck, skid steer, trench machine and hand tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and document tasks.
• Complete tasks under supervision in a timely and professional manner.
• Engage with co-workers and stakeholders to meet project needs.
