Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a dynamic Stormwater Inspector to join our growing team. The selected candidate will conduct stormwater management inspections at job sites and prepare reports in compliance with applicable permits, while providing accurate data for client projects.

This role offers opportunities to advance certifications (QSP, QSD, QISP), perform seasonal water quality sampling, and collaborate with engineers on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; experience with Asana or similar project management software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project needs and updates to clients.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record and the ability to meet company insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stormwater management inspections at job sites and prepare reports.
• Provide seasonal water quality sampling, monitoring, and analysis at job site locations.
• Serve as the Qualified SWPPP Practitioner Delegate on construction sites and perform Industrial Site Inspections.
• Attend classes and trainings to obtain required certifications (QSP/QSD/QISP).
• Interact with clients and represent the company professionally.
• Regular, predictable attendance onsite and in the field.
