Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Broken Arrow, OK, is seeking a Testing Technician for switchgear to ensure custom-manufactured products leave the factory meeting customer specifications and our quality standards. You will work on automatic transfer switches and power control systems in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include BOM verification, schematics interpretation, wiring checks, firmware uploads to SCADA/PLC, and extensive electrical testing (DC, AC, dielectric).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher in electrical studies preferred.
• Experience maintaining, crafting, installing, commissioning, or testing electrical components and/or systems.
• Ability to travel 5%.
• Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and English communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Verify BOM, read schematics, check wiring, and perform mechanical checks.
• Record serial numbers; apply labels; install breakers and interconnects.
• Ground and setup test equipment, take job pictures, document results.
• Follow all Safety Procedures.
• Perform DC, AC, and Current testing.
• Perform dielectric testing and related tests.
• Upload SCADA/PLC programs and configure communication devices.
• Assist as needed with other test department responsibilities.
