Qualifications

• 2+ years exposure to electrical components or knowledge of electrical components.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language along with blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability/experience testing and troubleshooting with strong problem-solving skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Testing and inspecting Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to applicable standards (i.e. UL1558, UL891, IEEE, etc).
• Use multimeter and electrical theory to verify power readings and circuit design to ensure accurate wiring and operation.
• Use Hipot, test card, hand tools, specialized software (i.e. Siemens WinPM, Step 7, MicroWin, WinCC Flexible, SAP, etc.) and various other tools to aid in testing and inspecting.
• Perform inspection/audit of mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Maintain and input records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities.
