Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience wiring electricity and electronics preferred.
• Experience with blueprints, schematics, diagrams and point-to-point drawings preferred.
• Must have strong attention to detail and good teamwork and hand skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchgear cabinets, subassemblies, panelboards, and systems per drawings and verbal instructions.
• Use standard and specialized tools common to industrial automation assembly.
• Learn functionality of components and proper use.
• Safely operate tools and machinery; work with highly automated equipment.
• Maintain professional communication with internal/external contacts.
• Follow assembly drawings and safety procedures.
